Personal Reflection
I have always had a passion for debate. This project showed me that there are always two sides to a discussion and one can always reach a middle ground with ones' work. My goal was to make the voices of Gen Z heard. Researching various topics for my podcast increased my knowledge on many things, with the improvement in my research skills while researching statistics of various topics, I was able to gather knowledge on different theories. An example is a phycological study on self-care and recidivism rates that made the foundation of my podcast “Behind the Bars” and the various economic studies, like the economic research conducted on the success of women vs men, lead businesses that helped me understand the importance of women in the c suite sector of the economy perusing me to write my first podcast – “Reintroducing Feminism”.
