"The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.”
- Friedrich Nietzsche
The world is said to be ever-evolving and with it comes a growing population of people, with opinion and ideas about the world that they live in. The most recent generation: Gen Z was born between 1996 and 2015. This generation is the most racially and ethnically diverse. Studies show that Gen Z comprises less than 10% of the voice in the worlds political, social and environmental debates. The youth lives in a world where they are forced to hear the opinions of millennials and Gen Xers, and as Friedrich Nietzsche states, the majority is not always the best, which lead me to my personal project idea.
Personal Association with the project
As a child, I had been introduced to Ted Talks at a very young age and my love of reading helped me discover books like “We Should All Be Feminists” by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, which were extremely influential and shaped my personality. I have always sought to get my voice heard.
